Contemplative Outreach of Greater Vancouver invites you to a seven-day retreat to deepen your relationship with God in an atmosphere of silence, prayer, caring, support and hospitality. It is intended for people who have an established Centering Prayer practice and silent retreat experience.
The retreat agenda will focus time and space to foster one’s personal interaction with the Spirit. It will also include:
· Centering Prayer periods
· One-to-one soul friending (optional), to reflect on our Centering Prayer practice and retreat experience.
· Healing Touch: The option to receive individual healing prayer and divine energy work provided by experienced practitioners.
· Conferences: Brief sessions of viewing and group reflection will centre on DVD presentations of Thomas Keating and Richard Rohr on the subject of “The Eternal Now and How to be there.”
Location: Bethlehem Retreat Centre
Bethlehem Retreat Centre on Westwood Lake in Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island is located on seven acres. It offers delightful views over the water and hills beyond, excellent walking trails and quiet surroundings. Participants may choose to travel as foot passengers on the ferry and then share the cost of a short minute cab ride to the centre
Date: May 1 to 7, 2010 (arr. before dinner Saturday; depart early Friday)
Team: Facilitated by the COGV Retreat Team with Wendy Eyre-Gray. Wendy is a spiritual director, Enneagram teacher, retreat and workshop presenter, and an Anglican priest.
Cost: $750 includes all meals, six nights’ accommodation in private rooms, seven-day retreat,
