Evolve 2014: Event Highlights

From November 8 to 11, 180 youth and young adults gathered at Stillwood Camp & Conference Centre to form community, explore faith, and have fun. And they did just that!

From collaborative art projects to singing, Hunger Games and dress-up dinners, and a variety of spiritual reflection practices, this year’s Evolve was an incredible success.

What's being said?

“[Evolve] was one of the most life-changing experiences I've ever had. The Young Adult stream and personal rebirth of this event will (hopefully) echo within me for years to come. It was amazing to see so many of my old friends and to meet so many new ones.” – Tom Andrew Jenner, young adult participant

“‘Christina, you look splendid. What happened to you this weekend? Did you fall in love?’ Yes. Again and again and again. Thank you, Evolve. Muah.” – Christina Kinch, adult organizer

"A great big thank you to all the volunteers, participants and staff involved in bringing Evolve to life this past weekend. It was wonderful to attend as a guest and to see youth and young adults from all over our conference gather to share in worship, spiritual practices, small group work, and dancing.  Being there reminded me of that the Body of Christ is made up of many parts and that all the parts are necessary for a healthy body, so much joy was shared by all." – Karen Medland, BC Conference Executive President
