GODLY PLAY CORE TRAINING

At this training you will experience Godly Play as a leader and as a learner. You will learn how to create a Godly Play room and strengthen your group leadership skills. You will deepen your understanding of Children’s Spirituality. This workshop will happen in a prayerful and playful atmosphere which is collegial and non-judgmental.

This training is provided for those who have had prior experience with Godly Play and have taken the Introduction to Godly Play.  It is meant to further deepen the skills and knowledge that you already have.

You will examine key Godly Play relationships, practice and experience the three types of Godly Play stories, and reflect on the Spirituality of the Child and the Theology of Godly Play.  This training is the equivalent in the United States of the “Godly Play Teacher Accreditation.”

Thursday, October 14 and Friday, October 15, 2010 - Program starts at 6:00 pm and will run until 9:30 pm.

Saturday, October 16, 2010 Program starts at 9 am and will finish at 5 pm.

Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Participants are required to be present for the entire training in order to receive certification.

Godly Play Core Training: The cost of this event is $250 per person and includes Saturday lunch, refreshments and all training resources.
