Travel with a small group of fellow-pilgrims from B.C. to Chicago, U.S.A. for a three-night experience of the Taize Community. Follow the rhythm of the Taize Community, praying and singing three times a day; meet Christian communities in the Chicago area; stay in congregations and with local Christian families; travel with a group from Vancouver in an intentional experience of pilgrimage; deepen your faith and your connection to God; meet people from around North America and around the world; and be part of the incredible community that is Taize.

 

We will travel as a group from Vancouver on May 25th, arriving in Chicago in time for the evening prayer at 7 p.m. We’ll return to Vancouver on Monday, May 28th following the closing prayer at Taize. Open to young adults aged 18-35.

 

 

Costs of the pilgrimage: Your airline ticket from Vancouver (between $500-$600), and the cost for the weekend of meals and accomdation ($60). Other expenses may be a meal, transit tickets etc. If you are a young person under 26 then you can apply for a grant from the Imagine Fund. If you are over 25 you can apply for a congregational learning grant.
